One of the interesting things about the wheat found in Arizona is that it was part of the Hohokam civilization found in Phoenix. It can date anywhere from 100AD to 1300 AD or possibly even later but doubtful. This civilization migrated from Mexico/Guatemala area and would have migrated with that knowledge.
